Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to permit the Petitioner to opt for the MBBS seat in view of her NEET Score instead of the BDS seat allotted to her in the second respondent college.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to permit the Petitioner to opt for the MBBS seat in view of her NEET Score instead of the BDS seat allotted to her in the second respondent college. 2.Heard the submissions made by Mr.Mahaboob Athiff, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.P.Mahendran for Mr.V.P.Raman, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials placed before this Court.

consider the Petitioner's representations within the time frame fixed by this Court.

4.In the light of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representations of the Petitioner, dated 1.9.2017 and 3.9.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
