ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. 2.The patta as on date stands in the name of the third respondent. Seeking its cancellation, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent. All that the petitioner wants is speedy disposal of the said appeal. 3.No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The first respondent will have to put the third respondent on notice before passing final order. All the contentions of the respective parties are left open. It is for the first respondent to pass order one way or the other. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
