2. This Court, by an order dated 07.08.2020 in Crl.OP.(MD) No.8112 of 2020, directed the petitioner to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Trichy.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to pandemic situation he was not able to surrender the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Trichy, within the prescribed time.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent police.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances, time is extended by two weeks from today and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below on or before 02.11.2020 and also directed to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the 'Chief Justice Relief Fund' without prejudice to his rights and contention before the trial Court.
