PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to dispose of the enquiry proceedings in Na/Kaa.No.7881/2016/Aa1 as directed by the fourth respondent within the time fixed by this Court.

The present writ petition is filed for a direction to the fourth respondent to dispose of the enquiry proceedings in Na/Kaa.No.7881/2016/Aa1, as directed by the fourth respondent. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The case of the petitioner is that the properties situated in S.No.409/10, 425/5, 425/15 to an extent of 0.09.00 Ares, 0.50.00 Ares and 0.045.00 Ares respectively originally belonged to his father, namely, K.A.Alagan, and he was in possession and enjoyment of the same till his death viz., on 11.07.2012. 4.The petitioner would state that the fourth respondent erroneously issued patta in favour of the respondents 5 to 7. Hence, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the third respondent and the third respondent set aside the order of the fourth respondent and remanded the matter to the fourth respondent for fresh disposal on 25.02.2013. The petitioner would further state that since there is no progress, he sent a representation on 16.08.2016. Despite the same, there is no response, hence, the present writ petition.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
