O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2.The counsel for the petitioner would submit that in respect of eve-teasing done by one Christopher, these petitioners questioned him. and that the said Christopher and his friends assaulted the first petitioner with wooden log and thereby the complaint has been given by the defacto complainant. Based on the complaint, Crime No.240 of 2018 was registered against the said Christopher for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 & 506 (i) of IPC. While so, the said Christopher committed suicide on 11.11.2018 and a case in Crime No.245 of 2018 under Section 174 of Cr.P.C has been registered by the first respondent based on the complaint given by the second respondent. But to the petitioners' shock and surprise they were illegally and unnecessarily without any summons were taken for enquiry by the first respondent and harassed the petitioners. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the complaint given by the second respondent case has been registered in Crime No.245 of 2018 and the petitioners are accused in this case.

4.Recording the said submission, this petition stands closed.
