PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records pertaining to C.C.No.218 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai and quash the same as far as these petitioners are concerned. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.218 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai for an alleged offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 355, 323, 296 and 506(i) I.P.C.

2.There was a dispute arose between the petitioners and the respondent nos.2 to 4 regarding the administration of the Church namely St.George Church. Now, the petitioners and the respondents are present before this Court and they are identified by the respective learned counsel and both the parties have filed a joint compromise memo stating that the matter in issue between them has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

C rl.O.P.(MD)No.12301 of 2020 been amicably resolved and therefore, the respondents 2 to 4 are not willing to prosecute the case and therefore, would pray for quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.218 of 2018.

3. The compromise memo is filed before this Court and the parties are also present personally along with their respective counsels and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would state that she has verified their identity.

4. In the result, by recording the compromise, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceeding in C.C.No.218 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai is quashed as far as these petitioners are concerned.
