PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent Police, Inspector of Police, Chinnalapatti Police Station, Dindigul District to expedite the investigation in Crime No.737 of 2020 dated 05.08.2020 and file the Final Report within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Viji For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public Prosecutor.

O R D E R

This petition is filed to issue a direction directing the respondent Police, Inspector of Police, Chinnalapatti Police Station, Dindigul District to expedite the investigation in Crime No.737 of 2020 dated 05.08.2020 and file the Final Report within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.737 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 342 and 506(i) of IPC.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed and final report is ready and yet to be filed before the concerned Court. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file Final Report before the concerned Court within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the Final Report, compliance Report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court.
