ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6. Considering the nature of relief to be granted issuance of notice to the private respondent is dispensed with.

2.The sixth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's request for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the seventh respondent. The sixth respondent shall conduct enquiry and pass order 2/4

on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The sixth respondent will put all the interested parties including the private respondent herein on notice before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the sixth respondent to pass order one way or the other.

3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
