ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to call for the records and quash the FIR in Crime No.257 of 2024, dated 05.04.2024 under Section 4(1) (j) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the investigation is almost completed and that they are going to file a charge sheet shortly.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent may be directed to file charge sheet within time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent Police is directed to file charge sheet within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order before the jurisdictional Court.
