PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1 to 4th respondents to survey and fix the boundary of the petitioner's land in Survey No.40/12 having extent of 71⁄2 cents situated at Nadiyam Village, Santhampettai, Kuruvikarampai Post, Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2017 within stipulated time framed by this Court.

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1 to 4th respondents to survey and fix the boundary of the petitioner's land in Survey No.40/12 having extent of 71⁄2 cents situated at Nadiyam Village, Santhampettai, Kuruvikarampai Post, Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would claim that she is the absolute owner of the land to an extent of 71⁄2 cents in Survey No.40/12 situated at Nadiyam Village, Santhampettai, Kuruvikarampai Post, Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District.
The petitioner approached the respondents to survey the land and fix the boundaries and also paid necessary fees on 28.08.2017. Since no action was taken, she sent a representation to the respondents on 06.09.2017. Despite the same, there is no progress, hence, the present writ petition. 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.09.2017 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
