By consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.The petitioner has come to this Court seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to give the post for the selection of Grade II Police Constable for Armed Reserve and Tamilnadu Special Police Force and Grade II Jail Warders and Fireman to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2017.

played before me in the presence of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader as well as three of the representatives of the respondent Department. Though I find some difficulty in accepting the posture of the petitioner, while reaching the three star from the first star, Mr.M.Johnson, Sports Officer explained to me that he was standing exactly beneath the petitioner, while he was reaching the mark at the 6th meter, and submitted that he has committed foul play, namely, clinging the two thighs on the rope and hence, he was disqualified. This Court, accepting the expert opinion, finally, is not inclined to accept the case of the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs.
