ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) The present Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner for a writ of mandamus seeking to direct the respondents to set off her son's remand period from 21.04.2016 to 14.08.2017 under Section 428 Cr.P.C., in his conviction warrant.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.04.2024 will be considered and suitable orders will be passed within a period of four (4) weeks.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, without going into the merits of the matter, we direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.04.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
