Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to condone the delay of 173 days of Break of Study and Re-admit the petitioner in the post graduate course of M.D. and permit the petitioner to write the final examinations which will be held on the date as may be announced by the 2nd respondent herein on the basis of the petitioner's representations dated 05/03/2020 and 29/02/2020 in the light of the Judgment of the Honourable Madras High Court in WP.Nos.25729 and 25401 /2018.

Mr.C.Karthick, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the fifth respondent. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the petitioner has been permitted to rejoin the course. Hence, the writ petition has now become infructuous.

3. Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent has also produced a communication of the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University dated 24.10.2020 addressed to the Dean, K.A.P.Vishwanatham Government Medical College, Tiruchirappalli, permitting the petitioner to rejoin the course.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
