ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.98 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 147 and 353 IPC r/w Section 3(1) Tamil nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992 have filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused went to the respondent police for an enquiry. At that time, the accused have quarrelled with one Mohammed Dhaha and damaged the computer monitor in the respondent police station. Hence the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that the petitioners have entered into the respondent police station and prevented a person from lodging a complaint and caused damages to the computer monitor worth about Rs.5,000/- that too, inside the police station. He further submits that twelve cases are pending as against the second petitioner, which are in Crime Nos.97 of 2024, 05 of 2023, 382, 312, 300, 288, 210, 16 and 108 of 2020, 19 & 18 of 2017 and 74 of 2013 and the first petitioner is having one previous case 2/3

against him in Crime No.97 of 2024.

5. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioners this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
