O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed by a Tradesman - E, who retired from his services of the respondent University on 31.01.2023 seeking a mandamus as against the respondent University for disbursal of the pension and other benefits.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent University, on instructions, submits that there was an audit objection relating to the writ petitioner and the same was cleared on 21.09.2023. Thereafter, the retirement benefits have been sanctioned to the writ petitioner, by an order dated 25.09.2023 and a copy of the pension payment order book has been furnished to the writ petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent University had handed over the pension payment order book to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in the open Court and the same is acknowledged.

4. As far as the disbursal of the retirement benefits along with the arrears are concerned, the same shall be disbursed by the respondent University within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
