Heard Mr.K.P.Narayanakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to regularize her service from the date of her appointment i.e., 01.04.2007 as Data Entry Operator / Computer Operator (or) in any other existing vacancy.

3. The petitioner has joined in service as a Wireless Operator on 01.04.2007 and she is functioning as a Computer Operator on daily wage basis from April 2008 onwards. The Government has issued a Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.74, Personal and Administrative Reforms (F) Department, dated 27.06.2013 for regularizing the services 2/6

of daily wage employees who have completed ten years of service as on 01.01.2006. Though the petitioner has joined in service subsequent to the cut off date i.e., 01.01.2006, it is claimed by her that by various communications, the second respondent has notified to send the names of the Data Entry Operators / Computer Operators working as daily wage employees and have completed ten years of service. The petitioner's name has also been included in the list. Despite calling for the list, so far, no orders have been passed by the respondents. Hence, the writ petition.

To be noted, the Government has not issued any Government Order so far, for regularization of services of those daily wages employees functioning as Data Entry Operators / Computer Operators, who have completed ten of years of service after 01.01.2006. The Government takes policy decision for the regularization of service of daily wages employees from time to time. So, the petitioner has to wait for the outcome of the Government's policy in this regard. 3/6

5. At this juncture, Mr.K.P.Narayanakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the list has been sent as early as in the year 2017 itself.

6. Since the list has been sent as early as in the year 2017 itself, it would be appreciable if the respondents take an early decision by considering the plight of the petitioner and like others.

7. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
