PRAYER :- This Second Appeal is filed under Section 13 of the T.N.L.A for Harijan Welfare Scheme Act, 1978, to set aside the judgment and decree dated 28.11.2014 passed in C.M.A.No.3 of 1998 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Dindigul, modifying the proceedings dated 31.12.1997 passed in R.O.C.No.3512/97/A on the file of the Special Tahsildar, Adidhravidar Welfare Department, Unit 1, Dindigul and allow the appeal. 1/4

JUDGMENT

The appellant filed this appeal to set aside the judgment and decree dated 28.11.2014 passed in C.M.A.No.3 of 1998 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Dindigul, modifying the proceedings dated 31.12.1997 passed in R.O.C.No.3512/97/A on the file of the Special Tahsildar, Adidhravidar Welfare Department, Unit 1, Dindigul.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (14.09.2023), the learned Special Government Pleader for the appellant filed a memo stating that the matter has already been settled before the Lok Adalat, which was held at Dindigul District Court on 09.09.2023. The entire amount as per the Lok Adalat settlement has also been deposited into the Court and requested to record the said memo and dispose of the case as closed. 2/4

3. The learned counsel for the sole respondent has no objection to close the Second Appeal and he also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. In view of the same, the said memo is recorded and this Second Appeal stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
