PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2017 and 16.08.2017 for granting license for the year 20172018 by exempting the conditional clause No.7 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 15.07.2017 and 16.08.2017. 2.Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Mr.M.Siddharthan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 15.07.2017 and 16.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
