The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider his representation, dated 06.06.2017, wherein he sought issuance of joint patta.

2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the property to an extent of 13 acre 36 cents in Survey Nos.110/2, 110/4 situated at Pudukkottai village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District was originally owned by his grandmother, namely, Vellaiyammal. She was also issued a patta in patta No.664.

4.The petitioner would further state that his grandmother passed away on 08.01.2008 leaving behind her sons and daughters as her legal heirs. The petitioner is one of the legal heirs of the said Vellaiyammal and he gave a representation on 06.06.2017 to include his name in the patta. Since no action was taken, the present writ petition.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
