This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing a direction 1/4

to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai to expedite the trial and dispose the C.C.No.900 of 2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that already PW.1 was examined in chief as well as cross examined and pending for examining further witnesses.

4. Considering the oldness of the matter, the leaned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai is directed to expedite the trial and dispose the above said C.C.No.900 of 2019 pending on its file within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
