ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for R1. Issuance of notice to R2 & R3 is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner is said to have suffered injury in connection with the works done by him for the second respondent. The occurrence is said to have taken place in December 2013. The petitioner had fallen from the third floor. He filed claim before the first respondent and the same was numbered as E.C.No.18 of 2014. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, it has not been disposed of.

3. The first respondent is directed to dispose of E.C.No.80 of 2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The first respondent shall ensure that the contesting parties are served before passing final order. The only direction that has now been given is to expedite the proceedings. This order shall not cast any cloud or aspersion on the defence which the respondents may have.
