Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to issue free house site patta by considering the enjoyment of the Petitioners over the lands in S.No.411/1, 411/2 situated near Jeeva Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar in Avaniyapuram Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, which have been narrated in the representation dated 6.3.2017, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to issue free house site patta by considering the enjoyment of the Petitioners over the lands in S.No.411/1, 411/2 situated near Jeeva Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar in Avaniyapuram Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, which have been narrated in the representation
dated 6.3.2017, within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2.Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.
3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.K.Vijayagan, the learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that it would suffice if the first respondent is directed to consider their representation, dated 06.03.2017, within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.
5.In the light of the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition and the submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner,without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 06.03.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the same, after giving notice to the Petitioners and other interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
