Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The entire case of the petitioner proceeds on the premise that the third respondent herein was originally appointed in Group-IV post. Factually, it is not so. The third respondent was only appointed in Group-II post. A similar writ petition was dismissed by this Court yesterday in W.P.(MD)No.8267 of 2023.
