COMMON PRAYER : Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to promote the petitioners as Manager with effect from 13.09.2020 with all monetary benefits, as per the representation dated 23.09.2020, within the time frame fixed by this Court. For Petitioner in both W.Ps.,: M/s.P.Kalaiyarasi Bharathi For Respondents in both W.Ps.,: Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER These writ petitions are filed to direct the respondents to promote the petitioners as Manager with effect from 13.09.2020 with all monetary benefits, based on their representations dated 23.09.2020.

2.By consent of both parties, the writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.It is the grievance of the petitioners that they were working as Assistant Manager in the respondent bank. Though the petitioners are entitled for getting promotion as Manager, by order dated 13.09.2019, their juniors were promoted as Manager by the respondents, for which, the petitioners have made several representations dated 07.10.2019, 09.10.2019 and 23.09.2020 before the respondents and the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioners have filed the present writ petitions for the relief stated supra.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to dispose of the petitioners' representations dated 07.10.2019, 09.10.2019 and 23.09.2020.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that the petitioners' representations dated 07.10.2019, 09.10.2019 and 23.09.2020 will be disposed of within a period of four weeks.

6.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader and in view of the fact that the petitioners' representations dated 07.10.2019, 09.10.2019 and 23.09.2020 are pending for a very long period, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the respondents are directed to consider the petitioners' representations dated 07.10.2019, 09.10.2019 and 23.09.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

7.With the above direction, the Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
