(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) This writ petition has been filed in public interest. 2.The petitioner is a resident of Ramanathapuram District. The Government of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the Seethakathi Sethupathi Stadium at Tamanathapuram. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that though the stadium was put up by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Government, certain private clubs have taken over the same and are indulging in collection of exorbitant fees from those who want to play or practice Tennis in the stadium premises. It is alleged that a sum of Rs.25,000/- is collected from those who want to play in the Tennis Court in the said stadium. He therefore gave a representation dated 16.07.2017 in this regard. Since no action was taken, the present writ petition came to be filed. 3.When the matter was taken up for disposal, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted before this Court that the third respondent has taken over the stadium and that rates as prescribed by the Government alone will be collected. There is no room for allowing the private clubs to occupy the stadium premises and indulging in any illegal collection. 4.

The learned Special Government Pleader made the said submission on the strength of the communication bearing Na.Ka.No.33/2017, dated 18.09.2017 issued by the third respondent. Since the third respondent has made it clear that the stadium would be managed as per the advice rendered by the first and second respondents herein and that the ground can be utilised after payment of fees fixed by the Government, there is no need for any further factual adjudication in the matter. 5.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
