ORDER
The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the 1st respondent to grant permission to conduct festival for Arulmigu Bhagavathiamman temple situated in Porunthalur village, Karur district by considering his representation.
2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today, it is reported that the HR and CE Department is intending to conduct the temple festival from 08.06.2025 to 11.06.2025. 3.Mrs.Porkodi Karnan, learned Counsel appearing for the impleading petitioner submits that there is long pending dispute in 2/5
the village with regard to the first respect. Therefore, in the earlier occasion, this Court in WP(MD)No.7770 of 2018 has passed an order directing the HR and CE Department to conduct temple festival. Accordingly the HR and CE Department has taken over the temple by appointing Fit Person to the temple. According to her, the Fit Person is making arrangements to conduct the temple festival from 08.06.2025 to 11.06.2025.
4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 2nd respondent HR and CE Department submits that the Fit Person is present before this Court and the HR and CE Department is going to conduct this temple festival.
5.According to the learned Counsel for the impleading petitioner, the issue is with regard to the first respect to the petitioner. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not expecting any first respect and he wants only the temple festival to be conducted.

6.Considering the rival submissions made and that the HR and CE Department is going to conduct the temple festival from 08.06.2025 to 11.06.2025, this petition is closed with liberty to the Fit Person to conduct the temple festival by giving representation to both groups and without any law and order issue. In the event,if the Fit Person feels, police protection is required, the 1st respondent shall provide necessary police protection.
