Government Advocate (Criminal Side)on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the Ramanathapuram Police Station for the offence under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act, 1985 have filed an application for anticipatory bail in Crl.OP(MD) No.4139 of 2024 and this Court, while granting anticipatory bail on 15.03.2024 directed the petitioners to report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders. The petitioners have complied with the condition from 29.03.2024 to 22.04.2024 for a period of 25 days. Thereafter, they have approached this Court seeking modification of condition imposed on them. This Court, by earlier order dated 24.04.

2024 has modified the condition to the effect that the petitioners shall report before the respondent police once in a week at 10.30 a.m., The petitioners appeared before the respondent police only for six weeks and thereafter they have not appeared. 2.Now the petitioners have filed this application seeking relaxation of condition on the ground that the petitioners are businessmen and it is very difficult for them to appear before the respondent police once in a week. 3.Considering the attitude of this petitioners that after obtaining an order of modification of the condition, they have not complied with the same, this Court is not inclined to relax the condition.
