This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2017
2. Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the land comprised in survey Nos.130/1 and 7/5 and also having patta in his name and he decided to dig an Oorani in his land in survey No.130/1, which is situated at Pillur Group, Mallanur Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk and transfer the heap of sand collected pursuant to such digging to his another land in S.No.7/5, situated at Palaiyana Kottai Village, Senkanthidal Group, Thiruvadanai Taluk, for the purpose of leveling. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 29.07.2017 to the respondents, seeking permission for transporting the sand to his another land. So far, no action was taken by the authorities on the same. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court with the above said prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. At this juncture, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the first respondent, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders passed.
5. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2017, and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
