ORDER

Seeking for a direction to the respondents to disburse the terminal and other monetary benefits of the petitioner's father, by considering her representation, dated 13.03.2017, the presnt writ petition has been filed.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing on both sides and perused materials available on record.

3.It is the case of the is that the petitioner's father was working as Checking Inspector and after his demise, the petitioner has approached the authorities to disburse the terminal and other monetary benefits by way of representation. However, the respondents have not taken any effective steps to disburse the same. Hence, the present writ petition.

4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents submitted that except the pension arrears, all other terminal and monetary benefits are settled to the petitioner.

5.Under such facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.03.2017, insofar as pension arrears is concerned and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
