This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the third respondent to expedite the proceedings for conducting survey and correct the extent of the patta and delete all the name except the petitioner in patta number 2118 in survey number 614/2A, 2C and correct the extent of the patta number 34 in survey number 614/1 as per the Revenue Records within a time stipulated by this Honourable Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, submits that the petitioners' representation dated 04.01.2022 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent/Tahsildar to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2022 on merits and in accordance with law, and to pass appropriate orders within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry. The third respondent is further directed to afford a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the fourth respondent and to all other persons who may be affected by such decision during the course of the inquiry. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. There shall be no order as to costs.
