2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader pointed out that questioning the impugned order, the petitioner has also filed revision before the District Revenue Officer, Tuticorin. A copy of the revision petition dated 20.11.2023 has been enclosed in the typed set of papers. Having filed the revision petition, it may not be open to the petitioner to parallelly mount a challenge by way of writ petition.
3. I therefore direct the District Revenue Officer, Tuticorin to dispose of the petitioner's revision petition dated 20.11.2023 filed against the proceedings bearing No.Moo.mu.A2/7228/2021, dated 18.08.2023 passed by the Sub Collector, Kovilpatti. After due notice to all the interested persons, final order shall be passed by the District Revenue Officer, Tuticorin within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
