This Criminal Appeal has been preferred to set aside the judgment dated 12.07.2018 made in Crl.A.No.60 of 2018 on the file of Additional Sessions Judge, Karur, reversing the judgment and sentence passed in C.C.No.178 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karur, dated 09.04.2018.
2. The appellant is reported to be dead. For filing steps, this Appeal is posted today. Learned counsel on record for the appellant would submit that he is not able to file steps and in respect of the accident, a claim petition has been filed by the claimant and compensation was also awarded.
3. The Calendar case is of the year 2013. No purpose is going to be served in keeping the matter pending any further. Therefore, this Criminal Appeal stands dismissed as abated.
