Prayer in W.P.1762/2017: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or Order or Direction in the nature of Writ directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 05.01.2017 and direct the respondent to issue the deposit amount Rs. 14,91,038/- which was deposited by the petitioner in the name and style of K.R.Gnanasekaran First Class Contractor contract Licence No. MA.PO.4/23020/14 in registered No.114 for the public work for the period of 2009 to 2015 and pass such further or other orders .

COMMON ORDER In both these writ petitions, the respective petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to consider their individual representation dated 04.01.2017 and 05.01.2017 respectively, wherein and whereby, they sought for refund of the deposited amount, which deposit is said to have been made in pursuant to an awarding of contract to the respective petitioners. 2.According to the petitioners, the said deposit made by them is to be returned/refunded to them by the respondent Corporation.

3.Needless to say that it is for the respondent Corporation to consider the request of the petitioners and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, as this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the writ petitioners.

4.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances of the case, both the writ petitions are disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 04.01.2017 and 05.01.2017 respectively and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
