PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to transfer the investigation of the complaint in FIR No.147 of 2023 dated 15.03.2023 on the file of Jaihindpuram Police Station, Madurai to CBI or any other higher Investigating Agency. For Petitioner : Mr.Niranjan S.Kumar For R-1 to R-5 : Mr.SS.Madhavan Government Advocate (Criminal) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.147 of 2023 dated 15.03.2023 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Jaihindpuram Police Station, Madurai to any other agency.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the Police have not properly investigated the case, in spite of giving representation, there are many laches in the investigation done so far.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), in the meanwhile, while filing status report in respect of the investigation submits that the investigation is now transferred from respondent No.1 to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Melur, on the point of proper territorial jurisdiction.

The petitioner is permitted to approach the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Melur, who is the investigating Officer of this case and submit a representation in respect of her grievance and on receiving of such representation, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Melur, is directed to consider the same and proceed further and investigate the offence and file the final report as expeditiously as possible. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.

5. Since the purpose for which this petition has already been fulfilled on account of transfer of the investigation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
