..Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to survey and provide separate patta for my lands bearing 98 cents of Survey No. 125/3, 25, 38 cents of Survey Nos. 58/20 and 31/4A respectively and One third of two irrigation Wells in Survey No. 124/2, 8/2B2 situated at Thiruppachethy North, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2016 within a period of stipulated time.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to survey and provide separate patta in respect of the lands measuring 98 cents, situated in Survey No. 125/3, 25, 38 cents of Survey Nos. 58/20 and 31/4A respectively and One third of two irrigation Wells in Survey No. 124/2, 8/2B2 situated at Thiruppachethy North, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on his representation dated 01.07.2016. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

4.The grievance of the the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered sofar. 5.This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner on merits. However, as the representation is stated to be pending before the respondent, this court only directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, also by giving an opportunity of hearing to the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
