ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner has challenged the impugned rejection order passed by the second respondent.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader clarified that the petitioner has already filed appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai and that enquiry is pending. The Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai is directed to dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. All the interested parties shall be put on notice before passing final order.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
