Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to measure and identify the Petitioner's property with regard to the land in Survey Nos.73/17 and 73/67 situated in llangiyendal Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District and further to direct the second respondent to include the Petitioner's property with regard to S.No.73/67 in the FMB Sketch based on the Petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2017.

ORDER
The Petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to measure and identify the Petitioner's property with regard to the land in Survey Nos.73/17 and 73/67 situated in llangiyendal Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District and further to direct the second respondent to include the Petitioner's property with regard to S.No.73/67 in the FMB Sketch based on the Petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2017. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.The Petitioner would claim that he purchased the property through registered sale deed, dated 27.1.2010 registered as document No.251 of 2010. Since then, he is in possession and enjoyment of the property. He has also constructed a house to an extent of 480 sq.ft. The Petitioner would state that he approached the second respondent and made representation on 23.8.2017 to measure the property and also paid the prescribed fee. Since no action was taken, the Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.
5.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 23.08.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and take appropriate action on the same, after giving notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
