PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to include the petitioner's name in the state wide seniority list, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.202, Environment and Forest Department dated 18.12.2013 so as to enable the petitioner to get his service regularized in the time scale pay as plot watchers (Supernumerary), based on the Petitioner's representations dated 11.02.2020 and 01.10.2020.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the state wide seniority list, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.202, Environment and Forest Department dated 18.12.2013, enabling him to get his service regularized in the time scale pay as plot watchers(Supernumerary), based on the representations dated 11.02.2020 and 01.10.2020. 2.By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.It is the grievance of the petitioner that though he has made representations dated 11.02.2020 and 01.10.2020 before the respondents with the relief sought for in the prayer, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that the petitioner's representations dated 11.02.2020 and 01.10.2020 will be disposed of within a period of four weeks.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the respondents, particularly, the respondents 2 and 4 are directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 11.02.2020 and 01.10.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
