ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the 5th respondent 1/3

herein to complete the investigation and file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.A case has been registered on the basis of the complaint given by this petitioner in Crime No.500 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 323 and 379 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 on 17.09.2020.

3.Now the grievance of the petitioner is that even after a lapse of a year, investigation has not been completed and final report has also not been filed. Hence, this petition. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that 7 witnesses' statements have been recorded so far and all the accused have been released on bail. He would further submit that within 3 months, investigation will be completed and the final report will also be filed before the concerned Court.

5.It is seen that the 5th respondent herein has been added in his personal capacity, which is not proper. Considering this fact, there shall be a direction to the Sub Inspector of Police, Muthukulathur Police Station, Ramanathapuram District to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court within 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After completing the process, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.

6.With the aforesaid direction, this petition is disposed of.
