The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to provide adequate Police protection to the petitioner life and limb and also the petitioner property by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2022.

2.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has preferred a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 on 01.07.2022.

4.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side). 5.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court is constrained to pass a direction to the second 2/4

respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner. Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
