ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.07.2017 and release the service and terminal benefits payable to him.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the Criminal case lodged against him in C.C.No.364 of 2008, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate III, Trichy, ended in his favour on 19.08.2013, the respondent has not released the terminal benefits due to him till date. Even the representation made by the petitioner on 17.07.2017 in this regard has not been considered so far. Hence, this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent, who submitted that the respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders, on merits.

4. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for herein, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 17.07.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
