For Petitioner : Mr.C.Guhaseela Rupan For Respondent : Mr.M.Sarangan, Addl. Government Pleader.
ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the property in question was the subject matter of an assignment order and that the assignment itself had been cancelled. I wanted to know as to whether the persons concerned were put on notice before the assignment was cancelled. I also wanted a copy of the cancellation order. The learned Additional Government Pleader is not in a position to furnish the same immediately. The net effect of the submission of the respondents is that patta as sought for by writ petitioner cannot be granted. If that be so, the fourth respondent is directed to communicate his decision to the writ petitioner forthwith and without any delay. Along with the order on the writ petitioner's representation, the order of cancellation shall be enclosed. The fourth 2/4
respondent will also clarify if the interested person was put on notice before the cancellation order was passed. This entire exercise shall be done within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 26.08.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias To:
