Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to reimburse the medical expenses sum of Rs.2,42,965/- with interest incurred by the petitioner for taking medical treatment for his husband at Meenatchi Mission Hospital, Madurai forthwith.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to reimburse the medical expenses sum of Rs.2,42,965/- with interest incurred by the petitioner for taking medical treatment for his husband at Meenatchi Mission Hospital, Madurai, forthwith.

2. Heard Mr.V.Muthukamatchi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondents and Mr.C.Karthik, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.
3. The petitioner has applied for medical reimbursement under NHIS Scheme has not been given with any reimbursement and hence, she has filed the writ petition.
4. The only reason for which the claim of the petitioner is pending in that the petitioner has not produced the original bill for a sum of Rs.22,000/-.
5. According to the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, he has already produced the original bill, but she has been repeatedly demanded to produce the bills which is not possible at this stage.

In such case, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions :- (i) The authority concerned is directed to get a copy of the bill, if a copy is available and verify its genuineness with the concerned hospital and then consider the same and pass orders reimbursement within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
(ii) It is seen that the admitted amount was also not even disbursed so far. So far as the admitted amount is concerned, the second respondent is directed to release the admitted amount forthwith.
(iii) Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
