..Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to conduct survey and demarcate the Petitioner's land in New S.F.No.188/12, situated at Araiyapatti Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkotai District through the Taluk Head Sureyor, based on the Petitioner's sale deed, A Register and Patta issued by the Revenue Authority within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The Petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to conduct survey and demarcate the Petitioner's land in New S.F.No.188/12, situated at Araiyapatti Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkotai District through the Taluk Head Sureyor, based on the Petitioner's sale deed, A Register and Patta issued by the Revenue Authority within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.The learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that though the Taluk Head Surveyor(Firka Surveyor) conducted survey of the Petitioner's land, the relevant documents such as sale deed, 'A' Register, Patta were not looked into while surveying https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the Petitioner's land. Hence the Petitioner has given a representation 17.08.2017 to conduct survey by the Taluk Head Surveyor and also paid the prescribed fee and produced the relevant documents. Since no action was taken so far on the said representation, the Present Writ Petition is filed. 5.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 17.08.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and take appropriate action on the same, after giving notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
