Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to Enrolment No.3016884 of the petitioner relating to the results declared on 01.09.2017 by the respondents disqualifying the petitioner and quash the same as null and void and further to direct the respondents to recruit the petitioner under Common Recruitment of Grade II Police Constables (M&W), Grade II Jail warders (M&W) and Firemen-2017.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the results declared on 01.09.2017 by the respondents disqualifying the petitioner and to direct the respondents to recruit the petitioner under Common Recruitment of Grade II Police Constables (M&W), Grade II Jail warders (M&W) and Firemen-2017.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, today submitted that by proceedings dated 21.11.2017 in C.No.D2/4122/2017 of the first respondent, after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

re-examining the application of the petitioner with reference to the performance in the Physical Efficiency Test and other parameters, fresh orders have been passed as follows:- "Therefore, the board has resolved to provisionally select Tr.M.Venthan (Enrl.No.3016884) for the post of Gr.II Police Constable (TSP) under BC community for the year 2017. Further, it is also resolved to request the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai-4 to cause Medical Examination and Police Verification of character and antecedents and verify the genuineness of the certificates regarding Educational qualification, Age, Community etc., of the candidate Tr.M.Venthan and also to send a memo to the candidate regarding his provisional selection."

3. Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(RTI) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar.
