mother Yokambal and thereafter mutate the patta in the name of legal heirs of Yokambal i.e., Petitioner and his brother to the land in S.Nos.100/8 and 100/9 situated at Aalathur Village, Avudaiyarkovil Taluk, Pudukkottai District within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

I indicated to the learned counsel for the petitioner that in view of the availability of the alternative remedy, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition. Taking note of the view expressed by the Court, the petitioner's counsel came forward to withdraw the writ petition.

2. The Writ Petition is dismissed as withdraw. The petitioner is given liberty to file an appeal before the RDO, Aranthangi. On such appeal being filed, it shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. The appellate authority will of-course put all the interested parties on notice before passing a final order. I have not gone into the merits of the matter. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
