Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue the patta to the petitioner in respect of land in Survey 189/1 in Patta No.1600 to an extent of 2 acre in Perugula Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering petitioner's representation dated on 13.07.2017 in accordance with law, by time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue patta to the petitioner based on the representation of the petitioner dated on 13.07.2017.
2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would claim that he purchased land to an extent of 2 acres in Survey 189/1 situated at Perugulam Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk and District, by a registered sale deed dated 21.10.2009. Since then he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same.
4.The petitioner would further state that he approached the respondents for issuance of patta and also sent a representation on 13.07.2017. Since no action was taken, the present writ petition.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
