Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue a separate patta to the petitioner's property comprised in S.No247/2 to an extent of 0.14.5 cents, S.No247/1 to an extent of 0.25 cents and S.No247/1 to an extent of 0.45 cents situated in Navalur Kuttapatti Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichirapalli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Devaraj For Respondents : Mr.C.Selvaraj, Special Government Pleader.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue a separate patta to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2017.

2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would claim that he is absolute owner of the property in S.No.247/2 to an extent of 0.14.5 cents, S.No247/1 to an extent of 0.25 cents and S.No247/1 to an extent of 0.45 cents situated at Navalur Kuttapatti Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichirapalli District. He approached the respondents for issuance of patta. Since no favourable order was passed, the present writ petition.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
