ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to perform the functions of the Member of Thirupani Committee at Arulmigu Mamundi Ayyanar Temple in Kancharampettai Village of Madurai North District based upon the representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2023.

2. Today, when the matter was called up for admission, it is informed by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 that the Kumbabishegam to the petition mentioned temple is stated to be held on 29.06.2023. He would also inform that no special right or privilege will be granted to any person in the Kumbabishegam.

3. Recording the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of and the petitioner is permitted to participate in the Kumbabishegam like any other worshipper. No costs.
