Prayer in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.16378 of 2023:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. To direct the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Karur to consider the bail application of the Petitioner on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.396 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s. M. Saravanan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. P. Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate for the 1st and 2nd respondents, this Court made the following order:

"This petition is filed seeking extension of time to furnish sureties in Crl.M.P. (MD)No.15246 of 2023 in Crl.OP(MD) No.16378 of 2023, as per the order dated 01.11.2023.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent 2/5

submits that this is the second petition for extension of time and originally a direction was given on 14.09.2023 to the petitioner to surrender before the Court below. However, the petitioner failed to surrender before the Court below and filed a petition for extension of time before this Court, which was allowed on 01.11.2023. Again the petitioner failed to surrender and filed the present petition. Accordingly, he prays to dismiss the present petition.

2.In view of the above, this Court finds no reasons to extend the time. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is dismissed with liberty to file fresh petition for direction."
